I took pictures of Sean at 9 months and now again at 1 year. He always has plenty of smiles for me!! He has the most beautiful dark eyes and red hair. I’ve always loved redhead kids and babies.

Nicole contacted me a couple of weeks ago to do a maternity shoot. She said she had some land and we could just shoot at her place. I never expected what awaited me! What an amazing place they have. I had a blast and they were very welcoming. I am extremely happy with the results and I hope they are too!

you might remember Zac and Vanessa from a few weeks ago. well, I was lucky enough to spend some time with their new addition, emery. she was a perfect little lady. she slept the whole time and was very cooperative. what a sweet and perfect little angel. I can tell she is so loved by her parents.

I spent some time with the most animated 5 month old I’ve ever met the other day. he is completely adorable and has the most interesting facial expressions.
they will be moving in a couple of weeks. we’ll miss them.

meet our newest addition, Peaches. He’s only about 4 or 5 weeks old. The momma cat abandoned the kittens (most likely killed by coyote) so we brought Peaches home early. He does eat soft food and we have formula for him too. so far he’s gone pee and poo in the litterbox.
Peaches still noses around in the blankets and sucks on shirts/blankets and is a little whiny. hahaha! probably misses mom. He also has a white spot on each eye. It looks like a goober, but it stays in the same spot all the time. it seems to see ok though so I guess I shouldn’t be worried.

my new nieces flew in from Ethiopia tonight with my sister and brother-in-law. it was such an amazing night and I felt completely overwhelmed with happiness. I already love them to death and I only met them 3.5 hours ago. I’m glad I got to capture their homecoming!! I can’t wait to get more photos of them!

This little guy was FAST and what a cutie with those bright blue eyes! I’m so glad his mom contacted me. We went to high school together. It was great seeing her and her parents and meeting her little man.

last year I planted a big packet of seeds labeled “italian herbs”. they were all mixed up so I didn’t really know what was in it or what any of it looked like. it appeared that nothing actually grew last year. but now I see this plant out there this year. it smells really yummy like an herb, but I’m not sure what it is.
do you have any ideas?
I’m thinking oregano or marjoram.

I’ve been wanting to find a new place to shoot a landscape. when it comes to the river there are only so many places a person can actually get down to the water and most of them are places that everybody else knows about too. this location isn’t an exception, but it seemed to clear out as the sun began to go down.
My uncle used to live in a house that had property right on the river. I tried to get back down there, but they had it gated off. wish I could somehow get a hold of the owners so I could ask them if I could take some pictures down there. I also plan on visiting the Indian Paintings. there is a house right across the road that is really cool. I’ve loved it since I was a kid. I noticed it’s boarded up now, but I think the owners live on the same property. doesn’t hurt to ask!
