farmers market

September 17th, 2009

Our wonderful neighbors, Audra and Addy Lue, invited us to go to the farmers market with them this afternoon. It was a perfect afternoon and a perfect farmers market. Just what we needed. I’ve been meaning to go to this market and haven’t all summer. now I must keep going. it will be gone at the end of October.

The way the display the fruits and vegetables is like art. Colors, shapes, textures… I can’t get enough.

    oh rachel…
    wow.
    that picture of the basket and greens? …i want that hanging in my kitchen. right next to the picture of tomatoes.
    and i want to eat that pizza!
    and that sunflare
    and….and i CAN NOT believe that you haven’t been there all summer… and that they are leaving at the end of october. you have to. have to have to make this a weekly trip until they are gone-and take more gorgeous pictures like this..
    sigh.
    so i can live vicariously through you.
    pretty please…
    and pretend that i can take pictures like this.
